What to Expect

So, you’re thinking of visiting us this Sunday. Great! We can’t wait to meet you. But wait, you’re not entirely sure what Kingston Alliance will be like. Maybe you’ve never been to a church before, or it’s been awhile. Maybe you’ve just never been to an CMA church before. Whatever your situation, we’d like to give you a snapshot of what you can expect on a typical Sunday morning

People at our church come from all walks of life, so expect to see people dressed in a variety of ways. Some folks like to dress formally for church, and others dress more casually. We encourage visitors to come however they are most comfortable

Our music tends to fall more on the traditional side. Expect hymns being sung with a piano accompaniment. We invite you to sing with us as much as you are comfortable

If you will be attending with children, please see our Children page by clicking above. You are more than welcome to keep your children with you throughout the service, or send them downstairs to enjoy our children’s classes with our certified children’s workers

A financial offering will be collected during the service. Visitors are welcome, but not expected, to give to the church

After the morning service, which usually wraps up between 12:00-12:15, everyone is welcome to join together for lunch downstairs. This meal is provided by the church. Visitors are always welcome to join in the meal

If you have any questions or concerns at any point, just pull aside pastor Paul or pastor Jeremy (pictured in our Staff page), and we’d be happy to talk with you
